Tire Blows During Track Bike Race
This one is more humorous than devastating, but two racers hit the ground after a tire blows out during a track bike race.

Never seen a bicycle tire blow out before. I wonder how the next date went... "Omagosh what happened to your arm?" "Oh this? Scraped it up a little when I crashed during a bike race." "Oooh wow you race motorcycles?" "No. It was a, uh, tandem bicycle. We were pedalling hard and the front tire blew out. Flopped over and slid down the track." "Wow look at the time.
