Re: Video From The Teresa Halbach Murder Case
Yup, thanks for those, but they're the police interrogation ones, not the trial ones. Still a really interesting read though, it's so clear he's being leaded on

Re: Video From The Teresa Halbach Murder Case
I strongly encourage anyone interested in this case to watch the Netflix documentary before rendering any sort of judgment whatsoever. The documentary film is over ten hours long and took more than ten years to make. It was meticulously researched, brilliantly directed, and makes for incredibly compelling viewing. Unarguably some of the highest quality documentary film-making I have ever seen. It is also one of the most chilling and terrifying things I have seen in my life. “We can all say we will never commit a crime, but we can never guarantee that someone will never accuse us of a crime. And if that happens, good luck in this criminal justice system.” -Jerry Buting |

Re: Video From The Teresa Halbach Murder Case
I watched that documentary, "Making a Murderer", over last night and today. There was so much corruption, conspiracy, and conflict of interest in this case it is breathtaking. I have six pages of notes that I jotted while watching it, so much stood out. You are right, Vedderman, it is brilliant -- and it should be required watching for anyone who thinks they understand the justice system, local county to state appellate. And law enforcement, for that matter. Defense atty Dean Strang's statements will stay with me for a long time: paraphrased, "...to be accused is to lose...where do you go to get your reputation back, you don't...at most you can hope to get your liberty back." |
