Utah Plane Crash Captured on Girl's Cellphone
The female passenger in this plane started recording from her cellphone when they were forced to land the plane they were in with no engine. Apparently the carburetor iced over and stopped working. They did a good job of landing the plane even though it did flip over. They were lucky, they both survived and she got some decent video from the event.

seems like they could have landed a bit lighter than that given the conditions....pilot probably had a hard time judging distance from the flat white snow when the plane got close

That, and I was thinking the snow just grabbed the wheels and flipped it. Nice footage - I like the wife and the end telling her husband to chill. |

very talented pilot...basically flying a way overloaded glider at that point and managed to get everyone on the ground bascially uninjured...kudos!

Landing in the snow is actually quite a bit more difficult. It doe something with human perception that screws some of us up. Plus the icy runways don't help.
