Saw this and thought to post it here, looks like you beat me to it though. Anyway, I have a fee theories of what could have happened. A loss of engine power on the right side, malfunctions with the flaps or alierons, or loss of hydrolic pressure. This video really reminds me of the AA 191 image. |

Sorry to say, but Asian pilot are much like Asian drivers! Even the pilots on the heavy jets often can't fly worth crap when the autopilot is disengaged. He probably freaked if there was a flame out and banked too sharp causing the aircraft to lose lift on the port wing. Once that starts to happen you are screwed unless you have a lot of altitude to recover from the stalled wing. |
