A helicopter carrying four people met with a fatal accident as it plunged into a lake in Brazil, claiming the life of one individual.

The tragic event unfolded shortly after the helicopter's takeoff and was captured on camera at a nearby ranch at precisely 9:03 AM.

Following the crash, Julia Mendonça Silva Bernardes, aged 22, and the pilot, Lucas Chaves Ávila, were swiftly transported to a medical clinic, while the third victim, who has not been identified yet, was taken to a hospital.

The current status of their medical conditions has not been disclosed at this time.

There were four people on the aircraft, and V. A. B., resident of Capitolio, died in the accident. This Wednesday, the aircraft, which fell at a depth of 12 meters, was removed from the lake.

V. A. B's body was buried at 1pm Wednesday, at the Capitol Municipal Cemetery.

According to information from the Civil Police, he was trapped by his seat belt and was unable to leave the aircraft after the crash. He is married, leaves children, owned a boat rental company and also worked for the owner of the aircraft.

After the accident, the other three people who were on the aircraft were injured and were taken to the holy houses of Piumhi and Passos.

The aircraft is an EC 120 B model helicopter, manufactured in 2009, for four passengers.

Investigators from the Third Regional Service for the Investigation and Prevention of Aeronautical Accidents (Seripa III), a regional body of the Center for Investigation and Prevention of Aeronautical Accidents (Cenipa), were called to carry out the Initial Action of the incident involving the aircraft in Capitolio.

According to the Civil Police, the aircraft took off from a helipad in Balneário Escarpas do Lago, in Espírito Santo, and the crash occurred near Marinas Portobello.
