Small Plane Crashed in a Southern California Strawberry Field
On June 10, 2022, a small plane crashed in a strawberry field near Oxnard, California, resulting in the death of the pilot. The crash occurred early in the morning and the plane quickly became engulfed in flames. The accident took place near U.S. 101 in Oxnard. Reports indicated that the plane clipped buildings on the south side of the freeway before crashing into the field on the north side of the highway, near the Camarillo Airport. Some debris from the crash was found on a rooftop.
