Skydiving Plane Crashes in Sweden Killing All Eight Skydivers
Tragedy struck in Sweden as a skydiving plane crash claimed the lives of nine individuals. The incident occurred outside Örebro, and authorities have described it as a highly severe accident. Swedish police confirmed that all occupants on board the crashed plane, identified as a DHC-2 Turbo Beaver, perished in the accident. The aircraft was carrying a total of eight skydivers and one pilot. The crash unfolded on Thursday, shortly after takeoff, and the plane came down in close proximity to the runway at Örebro airport, igniting upon impact. This unfortunate incident bears a resemblance to a previous tragedy in northern Sweden in 2019, where nine individuals lost their lives in a plane crash involving skydivers shortly after takeoff. The subsequent crash investigation revealed improper loading as a contributing factor to the accident. |
