Louisiana Plane Crash That Killed Sports Reporter Carley McCord
Renowned sports journalist Carley McCord was among the five victims tragically killed in a plane crash in Lafayette, Louisiana. The accident occurred on December 28, 2019, shortly after takeoff from Lafayette Regional Airport. McCord, known for her vibrant presence in the world of sports broadcasting, was en route to Atlanta for the Peach Bowl college football game when the tragedy struck. The aircraft, a Piper PA-31T Cheyenne, encountered problems shortly after takeoff and crashed in a post office parking lot less than a mile from the airport. The takeaways from this: Attractive woman died Well, that's it. Sadly, I have yet to come across a witness statement in the news saying that it sounded like a plane crashed. |
