Re: Jane Wicker's Bi-Plane Crash Hi-Res Photos
She was an idiot for doing such a risky thing with two teenage sons to think about. She was very selfish. What about her kids? Do they feel loved now? No. Mom would rather have some adrenalin rush than be around to finish raising them and being a grandmother to their kids. I'm sure she didn't intend to die but being a wingwalker.....obviously very dangerous.

Re: Jane Wicker's Bi-Plane Crash Hi-Res Photos
Hey guys, just interested to see if anyone would like some pics of the crash site today? Probably not all that interesting but I'll be over there tomorrow (It's about 10 minutes from where I live) and was planning on walking out to see what's left, if anyone were actually interested I might snap a few pictures while I'm there.

Yes yes yes...awesome, this crash pics are why I joined this site. You would never see this in mainstream press yet all the reporters use this site for their reports!

Re: Jane Wicker's Bi-Plane Crash Hi-Res Photos
I created this side-by-side comparison to highlight Jane's body moments after she impacted the ground and moments before she started rolling along and her body rapidly began to disintegrate...

Re: Jane Wicker's Bi-Plane Crash Hi-Res Photos
From the image it appears she died on impact. You can quite clearly see that her head hit the ground hard enough to open it up and release blood and brain matter. Her right arm also appears to be torn from her shoulder and forced up against the side of her head. These are obvious signs of massive trauma experienced when the plane impacted the airfield with Jane at the wingtip. Within a second or two of this photo her body would have started twisting and rolling with limbs flailing and razor sharp debris impacting and battering all over. Within 5 seconds her body would have been mangled beyond recognition, although it appears that large parts of her would have remained intact. The airfield would have been soft enough to absorb most of the impact. What survived the initial impact would have probably perished in the ensuing fire |

I for one didn't need a blow by blow description, I'm pretty sure we can do that for ourselves,..."5 seconds" 0.5 of a second would be closer I think. |

Re: Jane Wicker's Bi-Plane Crash Hi-Res Photos
First off, thanks for all the info on your kid. We needed to know all about that. Second, ditching is something you do IN THE WATER. You don't ditch on the grass. This all happened so quick he didnt have time to think about nothing but maybe: shit, this is it. Hate it when people to try make hero's out of tragedy just for the sake of doing it. PS - if his reflexes had been so good, we wouldn't be having the conversation. |

Re: Jane Wicker's Bi-Plane Crash Hi-Res Photos
I'm sorry to bring this up, slightly off topic--but for those of you calling them idiots for doing what they loved, you're assholes. Everyone has a passion of their own, whether risky or not. No one is an idiot for doing something they enjoy, to you it may be a stupid stunt, but to those two, it was something special. And for fuck's sake, she's "selfish" for leaving her two kids? She, nor anyone else, had any way to know what would happen. Not only that, but a parent who does things like this does not lie to their children, they, and she, knew the risks. I can't believe the jackassery of some of you people. She died doing what she loved, you have no right to call her an idiot for that. Or anyone else. May she rest in peace, her and her husband. Let them fly forever, now. |
