If you axe me, poor crosswind management. Attempted go around. Uncorrected P factor is possibly what hooked it right. Would have been embarrassed but with an intact airplane and no injuries if he had cut the power after leaving the runway. If he really was a student, the instructor who let him fly with that much crosswind would have some responsibility.

Poorly executed touch and go/go around. Very inexperienced pilot. In North America all the turning tendencies are to the left because the propeller rotates CW when viewed from the rear. P Factor, Torque, spiraling slipstream all cause the plane to turn the plane left. It looks like when he went full power he also added right rudder which would be correct to counteract the left-turning tendencies, however he probably added way too much right rudder which caused the right turn. Once he yawed off the runway, panic took over and he didn't use the rudder to steer or reduce the power it was all over from there. |

full throttle and pull back as far as the yoke can go, he thought he was going to take off again I guess. or just freaked out and pulled the yoke all the way back like that was supposed to slow it down. you can tell by his derpy looking face and arm tattoo he was one of those people who wants to be cool and fly, but isn't too bright. kind of hope he isn't allowed to anymore. |
