Cessna R172 Crash Near Victor, CO
On May 6, 2023, a single-engine Cessna R172, N15188, crashed near Victor, Colorado. The airplane was destroyed. Four people aboard were killed. The crash was caused by the pilot's failure to follow established mountain flying guidance, which led to a loss of control and impact with trees and mountainous terrain.
