Piper PA-28-180 Crash Near Greenville, NC

A single-engine Piper PA-28-180, N180LR, crashed near Greenville, NC, on May 5, 2023. The aircraft sustained substantial damage.

Two people were aboard, and both were seriously injured.

The crash was caused by inadequate maintenance by the operator and maintenance personnel, which led to a loss of engine power from oil starvation.
