Re: Brazil Plane Crash (LaMia Bolivia RJ85 Flight 2933)
the captain was already out of fuel when he allowed the Viva Colombia plane to make an emergency landing before them and circled the airport twice that's why there wasn't a single drop of fuel in the plane so experts are saying he allowed it because if he had stated his emergency and landed, which he likely could have because the Viva Colombia's emergency is considered "less" than his and in fact it was preventive, he would pay a 25k fine for not having enough fuel for another X amount of miles required because that's illegal you can't arrive dry and not state that emergency as an emergency especially when you are aware of your situation. right now what the company LaMia is saying is that the airport the supervisor that informed the captain his fuel was insufficient and advised him to sto at another airport had no night lights in the runway (!!!!) so they couldn't this supervisor is under investigation for not reporting the fuel problem to someone that could have stopped the plane from flying. she couldn't herself. that's the jist of the mess rn. again id post all links but this is constant and i mean CONSTANT updated and reported on tv here but the most updated braziiian sources are www.uol.com.br www.globo.com they might have ok translations as for the players: they are. there's no word when or how or how that'll even work but thr team was granted the sudamerican title and the 2.5 million prize and are being given a ton of support all around but this is def still a work in progress idk what's gonna happen with the football aspect |

Re: Brazil Plane Crash (LaMia Bolivia RJ85 Flight 2933)
The fuel range and flight time were the same? What a monumental screw up from the pilot. He couldn't have done all that alone without someone else also pitching in. Where was the co pilot in all this?

Re: Brazil Plane Crash (LaMia Bolivia RJ85 Flight 2933)
they really did ran out of gas. not a drop. the bolivian supervisor got her privisory exhile in brazil while they investigate because there's fear over her life because she was being threatened in bolivia three LaMia workers including the business partners are under provisory arrest rn but should be released after they're interrogated this is also a good place to be updated http://m.goal.com/s/en-us/news/3296/...ly-happened-on. in english |

Interesting how the pilot is vilified as a murderer yet his beautiful female co pilot is just reported as...beautiful. She should share blame for what happened. I assume the two pilots are there to make sure one doesn't make a fatal error.

Re: Brazil Plane Crash (LaMia Bolivia RJ85 Flight 2933)
well he had been flying ttis way for a while and is ultimately the one who had the last say no matter what so the big responsibility was his but on the other hand i do find it odd how little information there is on all of the crew. tbh i didnt even know she was pretty until i saw it here lol in brazil they hadn't even reported her pictures
