Re: Brazil Plane Crash (LaMia Bolivia RJ85 Flight 2933)
Damn!! That is so sad :( I read on IG that the journalist who survived said the pilot never told them there was an emergency and that when the lights went out on the plane, they were running back to their seats to put their seatbelts on... |

Re: Brazil Plane Crash (LaMia Bolivia RJ85 Flight 2933)
great news: the brazilians are all back home in brazil. Folman had another surgery to fix his C2 vertebra and it went wonderful and he's recovering well and will have full movements after all. They just reported his family gave an interview saying he just recently understood the magnitude of what happened and was particularly distressed over how the family of his friends were now that he understood. Alan Ruschell might be the first to go home after all. he's recoverig well and in his home town hving already made videos to the fans and eaten his favorite foods and all. Rafael Henzel the journalist is also in his hometown and well. the video os his reunion with his kid has gone viral ill try to post here! He said that the pilot didn't say anything about an emergency and there was no urgency at all. everyone was just ready for landing because they had been warned since technically they were supposed to but the plane circled twice. he had a whole interview and said there was a dead silence when the plane got pitch black and that he can remember everything except for maybe 20 seconds between impact and being stuck between trees. he was in the middle seat between two friends and the two friends were dead next to him and he knew instantly. the speculation from ppl is that they were impaled i dunno where ppl got this info btw. anyway he said he instantly could tell they were dead and that he couldn't move from the pain of his broken ribs and then there was a long wait. he heard the first responders yelled out and only when they found him he passed out. the silence and darkness was confirmed by another interview given by the surviving male flight attendant that said he didn't actually follow any safety procedures but rather was waiting to land. nearly all survivors were in the tail section of the plane that broke off and slid on one side of the mountain not that pile of rubble that most of the pics show. |

You always have the option to ignore orders from the air traffic controller. The pilot should not have gone to a holding pattern. He would have made the runway had he ignored this advisory. One mistake of many he made. |

Re: Brazil Plane Crash (LaMia Bolivia RJ85 Flight 2933)
One of the six survivors of the plane crash that killed most of the Brazilian football team Chapecoense in 2016 has died after suffering a heart attack. Brazilian journalist Rafael Henzel, 45, collapsed while playing football with friends on Tuesday. He was taken to hospital but died shortly after. Chapecoense described him as a "symbol of the club's reconstruction". The plane carrying 77 people, including 19 Chapecoense players, crashed in Colombia after running out of fuel. |
