Kind of hard to tell but I think you're right. And the gear is still down. Makes me wonder if they brought the flaps up instead of the gear but that'd be a real beginner mistake.

The pilot sent out Mayday call seconds before crash, saying: "Mayday ... no thrust, losing power, unable to lift"
