Re: Aftermath of Gol Flight 1907 That Collided with an Embraer Legacy Jet
The full 30m, Cockpit Voice Recorder audio is avaiable on Youtube, and so is an edited version with the last 1m30s as well. Just search for "Flight 1907 CVR" or "Flight 1907 caixa preta". It's probably the most chilling 50s of audio I've ever heard.

Vid1 - GOL 1907 Cockpit Voice Recorder (with English subtitles), starting at collusion Vid2 - GOL Flight 1907 CVR with expanded subtitles and animations, starting at collusion I couldn't understand their accents, so I skipped the 30minute version. |

Re: Aftermath of Gol Flight 1907 That Collided with an Embraer Legacy Jet
Those are some good video content featuring the CVR, good job on perusing the endless stream of shit from YT when searching for the topic at hand. I could probably translate the 30m cabin chatter to english, but from my experience previously trying to translate a Seinfeld special circa 2005, it's just too much work. But there isn't much relevant info there, at the very beggining the pilot is schooling the co-pilot about selling and buying shit on the eBay equivalent in Brazil at the time.

Oh! And I also have a feeeling/hunch these OG pics seen on the 1st page of this thread posted by the very owner of this website aren't from this accident AT ALL. I don't know, but it's a hunch anyways. Something is missing.

Re: Aftermath of Gol Flight 1907 That Collided with an Embraer Legacy Jet
0.08 Sec mark suggests that the Captain of the flight was asleep when the strike happens as he states "What's happening" suggesting that he was preoccupied or asleep & woke up to find that the aircraft was breaking up. I may be mistaken but the voice recorder indicates that this scenario was highly likely. |

This is legit one of the dumbest takes I've read on the Internetz since I had dial-up access in the 90s. You should be on heavy medication if you trully believe what you wrote, holy shit.
