Re: WWII - Rudolph Hess Introduces Horst Wessel Lied & Triumph of The Will
No, he didn't. There were lots of Germans againts Hitler, more than we think! Hitler capitalized the weakness of the dumb, the poor, the young, the influencable and the disappointed from the very beginning. You should better read about how his "movement" was formed out of criminals and bums. Read about Ernst Röhm for example, long term head of SA and impassionate boy lover. There were no "war heroes" or "smart people" behind him. These were nothing but only disgusted by his gasping hates speeches. No, he didn't. He even made things worse at that time by picking quarrels and by agitating the masses against the democracy. Read a book, before making false claims! When he was in power, he capitalized the progresses the social-democratic government had made in the 15 years before him. "Made them a superpower"? Well, yes, before giving Germany over to total disintegration. |

Re: WWII - Rudolph Hess Introduces Horst Wessel Lied & Triumph of The Will
Yes, and I did not deny this. No, he didn't. Actually, he did just the opposite: He changed essential industries into war industries and exactly this is the reason why Germany was totally run down at the end of WWII. It was not "swords into ploughshares" but literally "pots into steel helmets". His "great" plan of the world-capital "Germania" did not contain a single flat, whilst homelessness was still the greatest problem even under Hitler (until he got the "brilliant" idea to relocate german jews...). As I said, Hitler only capitalized the progresses made under the Weimar Republic and called them his own. They made strenous efforts by building flats and houses, so strenous, that Berlin of the 20s was world-wide known as "Wohnlabor" (laboratory for living [in a flat or house]), because German social-democrats actually made researches about living conditions a.s.o. The social-democratic Governments of the Weimar Republic did their very best to rebuilt indutries under the restrictions of the Versailles Treaty. Hitler just ignored it. |

Re: WWII - Rudolph Hess Introduces Horst Wessel Lied & Triumph of The Will
My god, look at what I wrote! You said, that he rallied a nation to take over Europe and I said, that he did not rally a nation but only dumb, hopeless, young and influencable people to follow him. You may not be the brightest but is that too much asking you to fucking read other's posts? |
