Re: Wave–particle Duality
yeah it would be hard to take seriously...except that people like stephen hawking, richard dawkins, richard feynman etc etc all seem to believe in it

Re: Wave–particle Duality
I am a big fan of David Deutsch...(Oxford physicist and possibly the world's foremost many worlds proponent). Here is a video where he explains the double slit experiment and why so many scientists believe that the DSE implies parallel universes/ timelines (His part is around 10:30 although the rest of the video is pretty interesting too) |

Re: Wave–particle Duality
And here is an interview that I did with mathematical physicist and many worlds proponent Frank J. Tipler. We talked about several different topics...but many-worlds/ parallel universes kept coming up The part about quantum theory starts around 3:00 |

Re: Wave–particle Duality
A wave particle like a particle that doesn't interact with "regular" matter? I believe 100% that this material exists and I also believe 100% that life forms made from it exists... I'm 100% sure that these tiny life forms are responsible for the evolution of life on earth and I've seen them with my own eyes. All hawkings theory did was expand all theories about the universe to the max to open peoples minds to the possibilities. There is no way to reach the end of space (if there even is one). His theory is new and unique and it has a chance of being real just like there is the chance that area or space goes on infinitly or as most people prefer to think it has an end and if there is an end whats outside of it? Honestly I think the highest probability = infinite area the only way to come closer to answering this question is to figure out what is area or what is "space". Right now people think that space is just a void but it is most likely more than that. Also people concept of time is mutated... Time is a unit of measurement like how inches are used to see how tall we are. There is no time. |
