Re: Oh, Jesus Christ - World Trade Center
Do you talk that stupidity to WWII vets at there Remembrance Day memorial services? Maybe they should "let it go" too? If you're not interested - fine. If it bothers you - thats fine too. But don't disrespect people for being passionate about something that truely has affected their lives. When I come on here and Im not interested in 9/11 at that time - I skip it and look at other things. Simple - if you're not interested, move on and keep your comments to yourself. |

Re: Oh, Jesus Christ - World Trade Center
Some argument there shoot. Actually, Doosh is very smart, take a little time to get to know him and you will figure that out. At any rate, you must have some reason for all of this, you do keep coming back do you not ? If you are sick of 9/11, why do you keep posting ?

Re: Oh, Jesus Christ - World Trade Center
it wasn't an argument. it was freaking statement. anyone who tries to argue via typing is freaking lame. hey bill, 9/11 is with us all...i know it hits home for u since u were there, recording it (for whatever reason). anyway, i was just expressing myself...no worries, just being a typo bitch..i'll check it out sometime, i'm not gonna do it obsessively though.

Re: Oh, Jesus Christ - World Trade Center
I am so sorry to hear you lost a close friend that day Bill, may his soul rest in peace and I hope you focus on the good memories you shared. I don't understand why people get so 'sick' of this event. It was horrendous mass-murder of totally innocent people by utter scum. I remember that day like it was yesterday, I was glued to the TV all day and was crying my eyes out at the horror unfolding before me The book "102 Minutes: The Fight To Survive Inside The world Trade Centre" is a must-read for those interested. I was cursing reading every page. It was the worst thing I've ever read, so upsetting. I guess those who get aggitated seeing these clips possibly do not recall it actually happening/were too young. I've worked that out amongst some people I know! They wonder why I get so distressed and angry over it. Then again, you don't NEED to have SEEN it to feel anger? |

Re: Oh, Jesus Christ - World Trade Center
I've just read through this thread and Bill, I'm crying for your pain Oh sweetheart, you poor man. I very much hope you and your wife find, not closure, but a coping technique to help you deal with those memories forver burned in your mind. That's why I say 'not closure', this cannot be closed. Nor can a bloomin' hobby ease the pain. Focusing on turning your experiences into memories rather than the memories troubling you and still being experiences is an excellent method. A traumatic experience can remain so until eventually you turn it into a memory and it does help. There are a lot of silly, insensitive comments from people who simply do no not and cannot understand where you are coming from. Do NOT let them put you off what you're doing here. I've posted my personal plights in the medical section for all to see and that is a way for me to cope and not feel alone. I have had awful comments to but they are left there for all to see what arseholes they are. When I mentioned my near-fatal brain bleed, someone posted "big fucking deal" Perhaps this is your motive too?? An outlet to share your trauma? Have you considered other sites dedicated to 9/11 only and those affected whom you can share thoughts and feelings with in a maturer and more sensitive environment??? May be a good idea I wish you the very best Bill X |
