The drug the girl was given at the end is Thorazine a typical anti-psychotic with mild sedative properties, that's probably why they give it to her, to keep her quiet. It has horrible side effects, yet it is still used today, was developed in the 50's as a treatment for schizophrenia. If they ever stop her abruptly, she could have some withdrawal symptoms.  That whole video made me sick. |

Correct. It is called "Chlorpromazin" in Germany. Actually, the sedation is a side effect... But it's not at all new, that medication in psychiatry is applied because of the side effect and not because of the "planned" effect. |

Unbearably sad Unfortunately, this is the fallout from Ceausescu's regime. I was born in Romania, and lived for quite a long time under his laws. Of course, the general public werent aware of this; it was only after the Ceausescu's were executed that this horror was uncoveredAnd thank God it was. These poor souls had suffered in silence and in total anonimity for so many years. This was the result of Ceausescu selling off every single bit of produce, leaving people with nothing. Of course, as a kid, I had no interest in politics; I was so fortunate. We had a warm flat, clothes on our back, bread on the table. We knew no other way. We thought everyone lived like us. We werent aware that children were being treated worse than battery-farmed animals. My heart breaks for these lost souls; these are the real victims of Ceausescu's crazy plans.
