My whole life I have lived across the street from an institution called The Ranier State school in Wash. St., it houses about 4000 (if I remember correctly)mentally disabled people ranging in age from 14 on into the 80's. When I was A teenager A patient escaped and broke into our house naked and proceeded to make A pb and j, drink m,y Dad's beer and smoke my Mom's cig's!! But at one time it held Wesley Allen Dodd, who wasn't mentally retarded but being held there until his death penalty was carried out. He killed many young boy's and cut one's penis off for A trophy, what A fucker.  |

If the workers don't have the funds, food, clothing, space, beds, heat, running water, etc to deal w/these kids, I imagine they're doing the best they can w/what they have. They're doing a hell of a lot more than I would... No WAY could I work in a place like that. |
