"Animals created to feed humans..." Other species are not here solely for our enjoyment. Other species were not "created" for us to eat. We coexist with these animals. That's something I will never get over. The ideal that animals are here for us to eat. |

I should mention I'm not a vegetarian or vegan, but you can bet your ass if I had to kill my own cow I'd never eat a cheeseburger again.

Agreed. If anything, we're equally made to be eaten just as much as (most)any other plant or animal on this planet. Life consumes life. You are just as edible as the deer in the meadow and the trout in the stream. An absorbable energy source. Apex predator? Yes. No longer in the food chain? No. Step into the wrong area at the wrong time and you're still lunch. |
