Re: Dog Suicide Bridge
Their anal glands have a "musky" smell. Dogs LOVE stinky shit. They'll roll on dead animals. My sister has a chi, and the stinkier the food, the more she loves it. Google dog suicide bridge and they talk about the mink living there, as well as squirrels. Some people interviewed said they still thought it was weird the dogs jump at the same spot every time. Some of the people interviewed were owners of dogs that jumped and described their pets injuries once they hit the bottom. One talked about how it affected her 2 year old son, who a year later still asks about the pet.

Re: Dog Suicide Bridge
Usually, animals are really good at height recognition but some of the photos off the bridge looked slightly confusing, even to me. But I am scared of heights and get weak in the knees, etc. They state that most of the dogs that leapt off the bridge had "long snouts" and did so during clear weather. One article suggested sunny days increased smell, but I always thought dampness increased smell. Other people report the castle or church near is haunted, including they guy who threw his 2 week old infant son from the bridge in 94 or so. It could be one of those places that sets heightened senses askew, that and the smell of vermin on the bridge. It would be nice for a scientific group to solve this. Even if just for interests sake. But yeah, I grew up in in the country and seen dogs roll on extremely rotten animal carcasses and even cow patties, lol Most of the dogs we've had, hate bathes and after a bath have ran straight to the sewer after they were let out and got all dirty nasty. Not a creek, a sewer. Which is why they're outside dogs. Nasty asses. As fine tuned as animals are to the world around them, they do fuck up. Even cats can get the distance wrong, and that's why there's youtube. |
