 It should give you a idea of what is happening. The rods burn so hot that they need a constant bath of water or mix coolant! You run out of that or heat them too quick you got trouble! Japan kept theirs from melting down by the constant dousing of the damaged reactor and keeping the temp below critical...they couldn't hide that.....as a the reactor being ON FIRE is pretty hard to keep covered up! |

Japan would be fucked. The quarantine area around Pipyat is pretty big. People can go back and visit there but staying any longer than 24 hours in the restricted zone is not suggested. It would make up the north 1/4 of Japan using the same scale.
