Re: Chernobyl and Pripyat (1986 Nuclear Accident)
Easily the most ignorant fucking post I've ever read. The impoverished people who have no say in what their government does and are unable to relocate should have realized that one of the nuclear reactors at Chernobyl was going to have a systems failure and spread fallout over the Soviet Union and some of Europe? Shit man. |

So the deformed children, these were children that were born AFTER the explosions? Effects of the radiation from the mothers and fathers?

Re: Chernobyl and Pripyat (1986 Nuclear Accident)
I think it already has become a Chernobyl and their government, being so frickin secretive, won't tell the poor people living around the nuclear facility that it will have a wretched effect for the next thousand years minimum. So much for "government protecting you".... total B.S. - invest in a bunker

Re: Chernobyl and Pripyat (1986 Nuclear Accident)
Ummm nope it hasn't, I have friends in Japan and they say even though it is still very hard there they are making progress! The difference being between the two is there was a actual meltdown in the Ukraine. That is where the rods get so hot they start to combust and burn! That has not happened in Japan and that is the major thing to avoid in a nuclear plant emergency!
