Re: Battle for Berlin
Yes it would have been one of the most insane things to have seen first hand. Many of these clips I have never seen in color before, and are stunning, but, not all the clips from the video are from the battle of Berlin. In one clip you see a Pzkfw. Mark III with the long 50mm main gun, at 0.25 seconds in, so 1943ish Check out the youtube channels of unknown ww2 in color: http://www.youtube.com/user/UnknownWW2InColor There was another one I remember along the lines of German news reels, or something like that. |

Re: Battle for Berlin
r u nuts..... ? i mean, i like ya Oswald, I just dont understand ur logic, i mean if ur takin about all war in general....... ok.. i hear ya....... but WW2 was about everything and with a very specific intent and we had no choice in the matter. and the loss and suffering can be easily argued that when in consideration of the magnitude, scale and resolve of all sides of the conflict, the death and time scale could have lasted, who the fuck knows.... but Hitler felt his empire would be around for 999 years!
