Poor poor people.

Aw, c'mon, if Dorothy and Toto can live through being picked up and carried by one, how bad could they possibly be?

You are damn lucky. Actually, blessed. Here in Alabama, they said if you live in a trailer, get out of it and go get in a ditch. People in trailers accounted for so many of the dead. I'm going to try to post a video in a second of what this did to just one area of Alabama - and it's not the hardest hit. It may drive the reality home for some people. Glad you're ok!

Re: April 25–28, 2011 tornado outbreak. Southern and Eastern United States

That's where I grew up. Five people I knew or who were related to my friends were killed. Not much you can do against a tornado, much less hundreds of them, some of which were a mile and a half wide.

My sister-in-law lives in Arkansas. The roof of the house they just bought was torn off by the tornado.
