Definitely many shades of grey. 9/11 and the other attack on the WTC is terrorism. Our local bog roll Mcveigh and the OKC bombing is terrorism, lobbing scud missles into and attacking Kuwait was terrorism....although that falls into another shade of grey. aLL civillian airline bombings are terrorism ....the most pathetic attempt being poor Richard Reid (the shoe bomber).....what a moron!!! I am sure THAT embarrassed terrorists(with the same cause as he) worldwide!Israel is wrong to bulldoze homes of people who are simply trying to exist just as Iran and other Palestinian sympathizers and supporters is wrong to threaten to nuke Israeli sites. I may support the right of Israel to exist, but I also support the right of Palestine to exist. If I were someone with the wherewithall to be politically active and had a following, I am sure I would be considered a dissident or a radical here in the US.....because I see people wanting to survive and I see the biggest and baddest basically taking what they want. Yet, I will not condone terrorist acts (as I have come to understand them). |

I am waiting to see when the next attacks on US soil will take place. Many plots have been thwarted,....three that actually made the news.....but somehow, somewhere, these people are going to succeed. And we are supposed to continue allowing all of these people to stay in the country...??? Get rid of as many as possible... why is it that THEIR borders are closed to most foreign nationals,....but we have to let them in????? |

Not CLOSED.....but it seems that many Middle-Near-Eastern countries will expel foreign nationals MUCH EASIER than Western countries. For instance....a christian school (and I do not support that kind of thing being perpetrated in Muslim countries).....is easier closed down in a Muslim country than a Muslim school in a western country.....fir instance, in Kenner, Louisiana, the neighbors are up in arms about an Islamic school that is being built in a neighborhood, but our laws say that they have the right to be there......In a Muslim country, the "foreign" school would probably be bombed, burned down, and the people responsible either killed or expelled.... |
