Al-Qaeda tells Germany to change Government or face a "Bad Awakening" In a new video message, the terrorist network al-Qaida has warned of attacks in Germany during the two weeks after the Sept. 27 election, if there are no signals of a withdrawal of German troops from Afghanistan. Authorities are taking the threat seriously and have raised the level of security precautions.
In video footage a man identified as Abu Talha the German, and speaking in German, says that if Chancellor Angela Merkel is re-elected, "bitter times await the Germans," according to IntelCenter and the SITE Intelligence Group. He asks: "Mrs Merkel, what is the logical outcome reaped by the British and Spanish conservatives by their support for the Iraq war?" in an apparent reference to attacks in Madrid and London in 2004 and 2005. He appears to suggest that if German voters do not heed his warnings, Al-Qaeda will act within a fortnight. Germany's interior ministry said on Friday there was an increased risk of attacks on German soil ahead of the elections, and said security at airports and train stations had been boosted. Addressing German Muslims Abu Talha says: "Al-Qaeda asks you to stay away from all that is not necessary in the two weeks that follow the elections, if the German people does not decide to withdraw its soldiers from Afghanistan. Keep your children near you in this period." Abu Talha, whose real name is said to be Bekkay Harrach, stands in front of a red backdrop, wearing a jacket and tie. He is said by the German authorities to be a native of Morocco, and in his early 30s, who has lived intermittently in Bonn and is now thought to be in the Afghanistan-Pakistan border area. That's a real threat! There were many people who predicted that the next Al-Qaeda terror attacks will happen in Germany and will be harder than 9/11. We have elections on September, 27th and you probably know that the German troops are in Afghanistan.

A real threat? The whole point of terrorism is to scare people into thinking they are in danger. Thats a terrorists objective, "terror". As bad as 9/11 was, it killed 3k in a country of 350million. Not trying to minimize 3k lives, but 40k people die in traffic accidents every year. Hundreds of thousands die from tobacco use, alcohol, obesity.... all preventable. The point is if you're scared, they win. And you're more likely to die falling off a ladder then from a terrorist attack. And when you're scared, you fall victim to people who will implement their own agenda to keep you "safe". Fucking chicken little bullshit. Live your life..... and look up how many die falling off ladders lol.... |

Thats cool how in this post you accuse me of denying the attacks, but in your next post you quote me saying 3k people were killed. They happened, and were absolutely terrible. And no I don't buy into the conspiricy theorys. And actually it was Al-quada, not the Taliban. Get it strait. I am saying the point of any terror attack is to spread terror. To make everybody feel threatened. And if your more likely to die falling from a ladder, I'd have to say its not fear well placed. Not to mention your giving the terrorists what they want- your fear. So as much as you go on about terrorists, you are actually helping the fuckers by giving them what they want. |

If these terrorists continue the way they're going then the only response they are likely to provoke is having nukes dropped on their countries. If that is what they want then i say lets give it to them. I'll have no problems sleeping if the allied forces level the middle east - blowing them all back to the stone age and greatly reducing the amount of people they can recruit.
