No country supports terrorism. But then again, it's the definition of terrorism that's causing a stir. To the west, east(middle east in particular) is terrorism and vice versa.

I for one am tired of the US running toeveryone's aid around the world, when we can't even provide affordable healthcare, or even enough food to eat, in some people's cases, to our own people. Fucking sick of it.

A North Carolina man accused of plotting to wage holy war overseas also planned to attack the U.S. Marine base at Quantico, Virginia, according to new charges announced Thursday.

The charge is one of three additional counts in a new indictment against Daniel Patrick Boyd, the accused ringleader of a group of men charged with training for a “violent jihad” in North Carolina. Boyd and another man, Hysen Sherifi, are charged with conspiring to murder U.S. military personnel.

“In furtherance of this agreement, Boyd undertook reconnaissance of the Marine Corps Base located in Quantico, Virginia, and obtained maps of the base in order to plan an attack on Quantico,” the charges state.

FBI agents found weapons, thousands of rounds of ammunition and $13,000 cash in Boyd’s Raleigh-area home, an FBI agent testified at an August bond hearing for the men, who were arrested in late July. The original indictment states that the men had had practiced military tactics in a North Carolina county that borders Virginia.

The latest indictment also charges Boyd, Sherifi, and Boyd’s son Zakariya with possession of weapons in furtherance of a crime of violence, while Boyd faces an additional charge of providing a rifle and ammunition to a convicted felon.

You're absolutely right, Bin Laden and Al-Quada were considered freedom fighters when they were fighting the Soviets.

9 times out of 10 there is more to it than aid.
Theres almost always a string attached, or an interest to protect.
