Let's not forget that iraq was threatening to fire improved scuds with chemical warheads at israel. Saddam had a history of using chemical weapons against his own people so what makes you think that he wouldn't have used them against israel. He may have been the lesser of two evils but not by much. Just imagine what could have happened if he got his hands on nuclear weapons. Retarded......i think not. I am the voice of reason.

I support a nation of Israel, but I do see that the Palestinians have a right to a homeland as well. What I do not condone is terrorist bombings, suicide or otherwise. The West bank should be Palestinian and Israel SHOULD realize that. Gaza IN MY OPINION should be split ....but ONLY because these people (on both sides of that) can not live amicably together in the same territory and share governing. Historically, we know that aparthied will not work in Israel. the Golan Heights is anybodys guess but if I had to say, it would be Palestinian.

However, insurgents have also made their way into those territories as well. Their goal, to kill Israelis, Americans, and anyone else that befriends Israel in any way.

You know what is pathetic????....ALL OF THE FIGHTING IN ISRAEL....and it seems it is the ONLY patch of land in the middle East that has no oil to speak of!!!!!

saddam was just the lesser of the two evils, and by killing him and his sons Uday and Qsay off, we got al quaeda trash insurgents now...

All the more reason to drop nukes on them all. If iraq won't clean up their back yard then it's up to the west and maybe china to do it and make an example of them. North korea could help as well.

The voice of reason says why did America give Saddam Chemical weapons in the first place?
You give him the weapons, and 20 years later we invade Iraq to get them. Seems reasonable? WTF?

How about if Israel sticks to the land given to it by the UN? Easy enough? And Jersalem becomes an international city.

Its incredible how much of the problems are coming out of a disputed strip of land.
