The surveillance footage seems to show that the suspect fired the taser as well. However, do you believe "your drunk brother" will or could kill you if you become incapacitated? Are you in charge of protecting other people from your drunk brother? Is your drunk brother driving a 3000 lb. bullet around while drunk, then fighting with you as you take away his keys and attempt to remove him from the situation?



Peace Officer make these decisions is a matter of seconds. You have days to come up with the (and I am being very very generous here) "intellectual arguements" on why they should have done this or should have done that. We had a saying in the military "It's better to be judged by 12, than to be carried by 6." Your logic really makes me wonder if that's still true in America.

Whites get shot by police every day (on average about 400 a year in US say 8 a week) while more blacks are shot per capita (about 225 say 4 a week) however black criminals commit the majority of murders and 30-60% of other violent, property & vice crimes in the US in spite of only being 12% of the population so in terms of shootings per criminal action, shootings per arrests blacks are actually shot way less than whites.

Now if you just want to follow the fake news narration that blacks are shot in mass (225 a year out of 42 million people is really very few especially when you consider they are committing serious crimes 2-5X more often per capita) hey believe what you want ignorance is your right.

Now if you want to talk about real police violence Rio De Janeiro has a population just over 6 million and cops are shooting nearly 2,000 people a year which is more than all the police shootings in the entire US with a population of 328 million.
