There are about 800,000 armed cops in the US every year some are bound to fire rounds when they shouldn't and those cops "I thought I saw something" should be fired and prosecuted same as anyone else.

To say the issue of "police killings" is a widespread problem in US is absurd we have well under 1,000 police shootings a year 90%+ of which are easily justified meanwhile over 10,000 live arrests are made for murder /manslaughter suspects over half of which are black and most of their victims also black.

Blacks are getting murdered in attrocious numbers mostly by black criminals (at least 20X the number of black criminals shot by police) and to mitigate that we need police to bring criminals of all colors to justice using humane treatment for people who go peacefully and force for people who want to fight.

As for police choking out Floyd as he begged for his life Derek Chauvin committed murder, one of over 10,000 we'll see in the US this year and as with the other 10,000 Chauvin will face justice for what he did.

There's been enough cop shootings in recent years to know that the cops will shoot you for the slightest provocation. Cops have a duty to protect their community from violence. a guy who will fight cops and point a taser at them to aid in his escape is the textbook definition of a violent threat to the community. Couldn't save this one, its tragic, but it is what it is. resisting arrest is a pretty big gamble when you could just let yourself be arrested because brother, you aint getting away. Not for very long.
