Bundy feared "old sparky" very very much! Its well documented. People approved his death like no other in recent times. Especially in and around Florida. Other states could have kept Bundy jailed for life, but those states knew that if he was found guilty in Florida he would most likely get the death penalty if found guilty. People slept much better knowing that the monster bundy would no longer harm any more victims. |

They do an autopsy to make sure they died how they were supposed to. Claims that John Senkelink was battered by the guards before being put in the chair led to the autopsy rule. Instantaneous unconciousness is what we are aiming for so higher voltage is still nescessary.

The woman who was so broken up over her daughter's death was Denise Naslund's mother, Eleanor Rose. Denise was snatched by Bundy when she left her friends at Lake Sammamish state park to go to the bathroom. They would not let her mother bury her remains when they were found because they were considered "evidence" and were kept oin a locker at the Seattle PD. Ultimately Seattle PD lost her remains (just bones) and this caused her mother a lot of grief. To help her with her grief she purchased a pink casket, filled it with some of Denise's belongings, and buried that. Eleanor died a few years ago. Very sad.

In nearly all states, it is law that the medical examiner or coroner performs an autopsy on anyone who dies while incarcerated, including victims of the death penalty. I know this because I have mentored students with internships at our medical examiners office and I have gone on forensic cases with the consultant in my academic department.

I was in Jacksonville too! Yeah I was young but I remember how outspoken people were about his exacution! Saying its "Friday" and shit like that.
