Re: A REAL World Trade Center Jumper
I've not ever seen any close ups of the jumpers on the ground -do any exist? All I've seen is distance shots and jumpers heading down.

Re: A REAL World Trade Center Jumper
They are out there, thing is most people that experienced it are reluctant to even talk about it, let alone show their personal items. There is a police officer on here that was there as well. He arrived between impacts of the first and second planes. I asked him if he witnessed and jumper impacts, visually or the sounds, and he said yes to both. I asked him to describe it to others, being that he is a cop, and would tell it in a more matter of fact way than most, but he politely declined and said he'd rather not discuss it. I understand that, so I respectfully left it at that. There was a couple of guys that got people impacting the pavements n video on West Street. I thought they were going to be arrested to be honest with you. As big as New York is, this is something that affected EVERY SINGLE ONE of them. I thought a few of the people watching from the ground were going to have heart attacks seeing that stuff, and as it turns out, a couple did. MANY more still have mental scars that will NEVER heal, me being one of them. |

Re: A REAL World Trade Center Jumper
A lot of things in life are fucked up, but I thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing the horrible things that happened that day. The news sugar coats the bad things but if we are to remember the horror of that day, I thank God that there are people like you who won't forget and put their emotions on hold to remind those who were not there. Kudos to you for finding it in your heart to forgo the tragedy and your own personal grief to show the world how bad it was. I applaud you for doing that and showing people like me.
