It took one of the towers about one hour to fall (the south tower)after impact, and the other about 1 hour 40 minutes to collapse. The people that jumped were on floors at or above the impact that were engulfed in flames. It was a very,very sad day here. |

Bill, sorry for your lose. A friend that I grew up with had his father die who was a member of the fdny, few years later he also died. I like to think he went to be with his father. Even years later you don't get over shit like that. Thanks for your post and I look forward to more pictures if you post them. Like you and others have said I can't even imagine what went on inside peoples minds that day that were in those buildings.
