as far as screaming on the way down, i doubt you'd be able to, id venture to say they reached terminal velocity on the way down (120 mph). if they were head first, id think the air pressure alone would cause the lungs to inflate and prevent you from expelling the air. i may be wrong though. but if i was in their shoes, id have my eyes closed to avoid seeing the ground rushing at me, sad thought, horrific day, may they rest in peace.

If a skydiver is lying flat on the way down, they hit 120 mph. If they go head first they can reach 180 mph if they are high enough when they jump. You can watch videos on you tube where skydivers talk on the way down, they have a very hard time hearing each other, so they mostly use hand signals. They might have screamed jumping from the towers, but the wind might have made it difficult to hear them. They could say things from that high up on the way down, but who knows ? They might have chosen to remain quiet so they didn't draw attention to their deaths. Some fell out because of the smoke, but some figured out they were going to die....PERIOD. So they got it over with. Have you ever seen the 'cell phone jumper' ? I will see if I can find him and post it.

Ok, I don't know if it is true, but this is supposed to be a jumper on his cell phone on the way down. He is supposed to be talking to his wife. He is thought to be talking to his wife for a good 4 minutes describing the conditions in the tower. He told her how bad things were, and told her he was going to die. She said dont talk like that, how do you know you are going to die ? He said because I am going to jump. She said don't do that ! He said it is too late. He said I love you just before he struck the ground at around 150 mph. Bad way to say goodbye.

wow wtf, think i would of wrapped up the convo before letting my significant other hear the moment of my death, and i was thinking full on, scream of terror, skydivers are trained how to communicate, idk prolly was told wrong bout the screaming thing lol, no matter, its just horrid knowing that these people had no choice, im just the type to analyze shit, guess it helps deal with stuff

There are people that young here? Brutal. Anyway, out of all of the shit that happened on 9/11, I thought the jumpers were the most disturbing. Either burn alive or jump. Lucky ones were vaporized by the impact or died of smoke inhalation
