Re: A REAL World Trade Center Jumper
This poor guy fell from a 36th floor balcony, hit a wall on the way down and this is how he turned out. He hit hard and first, and not as hard and fast as those from the towers. I had someone tell me that the leg in the picture that belonged to a jumper was "intact". |

Re: A REAL World Trade Center Jumper
Close to 86 feet I'd say, but that one landed in the South bound lane of the Westside Highway. See the World Financial Center in the background ?

Re: A REAL World Trade Center Jumper
Hi Bill~ This thread is truly amazing thanks to your insight. That leg picture I have always felt is from a passenger on one of the planes. It is shredded, and looks more like an injury from a passenger on a plane, not a jumper... just my opinion.. |

Re: A REAL World Trade Center Jumper
I honestly did not hear them make any sounds on the way down. Somebody said they heard a couple of people hanging out the windows scream a couple of times, but if they did, they heard more than I did. The only sound I heard them make was the impact, not did you hear it, but felt it as well. |
