Re: A REAL World Trade Center Jumper
I was talking to a woman that was there that day, and she told me some interesting, but troubling things. She said there was a man and woman speared together with a part of the builing facade that came down when Flight 11 hit the North Tower. She asked me if I had seen them, and I told her no. She thought, but was not sure, that they were co-workers that had started dating, and since that sort of thing is not exactly accepted in some places, they were sneaking and giving each other a kiss when it happened. She said a piece of steel as big around as the steel that trains roll on went through both of them, and then stuck into the concrete as well. She said she saw them standing there with the piece of steel sticking through them both, and it was actually holding them up off the ground. She did see the same woman I saw that had been crushed by a piece of the facade that fell though. It landed on her, and because it had forward momentum, it ground her up as it was scooting across the ground. I remember seeing her and people in front of us said she was married. I remember thinking how can they know that ? Then I saw what they meant. As badly as she was destroyed, her left hand was normal looking, and she had a wedding ring on her left hand. |

Re: A REAL World Trade Center Jumper
You can't let go of it either, or it wont let go of you. I understand what you are saying. For me, it is a constant war with myself. I have drove my wife nuts with this shit, she can hear something about 9/11 and will start to freak out. I have told her the same shit over and over and over. She says " I know, you have told me a thousand times ! " And I do. Seeing shit like that fucks you up real good, and no matter how bad you want to forget it, you can't. So goes the torment of what I have seen, and so goes driving my wife nuts with it. I don't want it to be that way, but it is what it is. |

Re: A REAL World Trade Center Jumper
hello there...i am a paramedic and have noticed a lot of questions about death on the way down...a heart attack isn't typically lethal immediately...just painful...true cardiac arrest would take some time...which they certainly didn't have...

Re: A REAL World Trade Center Jumper
That is about the same thing I was thinking. Buried a lot of people that have had heart attacks, and some lived for some time after, but their body just could not handle the damage inflicted, and eventually died. Everyone of them that I saw was alive, and awake on the way down. When they hit and pieces went flying everywhere, you had to hope they died before impact, but you know they did not. |

Re: A REAL World Trade Center Jumper
When people ask why there are not more pictures of the jumpers, or video of them, I know exactly why. That day left scars that will never heal for some people, and they are reluctant to share what they have because of certain idiots that run their mouth and say stupid shit. Just what pictures I have posted has shown up all over the place, which I don't mind. The truth is, this shit really happened, and it does not need to be swept up under the rug and forgotten about. None of it does, but the people that had to jump got the worst of it all. They did not die when the planes hit, they were trapped for 102 minutes, and that entire time they dealt with smoke, heat, not knowing for certain what had happened, hearing the building creak and groan as it was losing it's battle, seeing some come to the conclusion that this WILL be the day they die and then get it over with. Imagine being trapped up there 1000 feet in the air with ONE way down. You hope against all odds, but it is not in your cards to make it another day on earth. After some started jumping, others stood up and inhaled the smoke as fast as they could. I guess they rfigured that was better than exploding all over the ground. For anyone that has ever inhaled that kind of smoke, it burns and will irritate your eyes, nose and throat. It can get hot enough to cook your insides. As if all that was not bad enough, people wanted to act like they did not happen, and not mention them at all, adding insult to fatal injury. They happened, again and again and again. It did not matter if you saw 20 of them, when the next one would come down, it was fresh horror that was burned into your brain for the rest of your days. On a side note, if anyone has seen shit like this and found a way to forget it, I do not want to know your secret, that would more or less saying they jumped in vain. We don't need to forget this, even though some want to. |
