I don't know much about this case so can't give my opinion on who I think did it. But whoever did should be brutally tortured for years before finally killing the person.

I think all you need to know about the 'guilt' of the West Memphis Three is that they have been released. Regardless of the technicalities of how that happened, I don't believe the USA is in the business of allowing brutal killers to walk out of death row.

They're free because the State knew that the case wouldn't stand up to scrutiny at the next appeal. The only reason for the Alford plea was so they didn't get sued into bankruptcy.

Sadly, I can't imagine they'll put much effort into prosecuting the real killer - doing that would be an admission of their own incompetence.

I certainly don't want to argue whether they are guilty or innocent, I was not there, but in my opinion they were innocent. However, what I do want to say is, someone said that having 3 kids, they had a hard time herding them around. I have 3 grandchildren and they run ragged over their mama but all I have to do is look at them and they settle down. Kids are real quick to scope out real authority so I thing the 3 young men would have less control over 3 8 year olds than 1 big frightening abusive adult. The stepfather has been under a cloud of suspicion and I would believe he did it before 3 teenage misfit teens and in that day they were considered misfits.

The HBO documentaries are biased to make them look innocent. Do some real research before proclaiming them innocent.

It is, and the real murderers have never been charged - the stepfather of the one boy.

The WM3 just happened to have been profiled. The mentality was, "one victim for each of the innocent men who served time," and Damien had to give up his and their rights to sue for their freedom.

They should find a good lawyer like the prick who got baby killer anthony off free.

Those little boys deserve justice for trusting people who should have protected them.

I posted this on another thread but without response, so this seems like the proper place to put it.

I really want some corroborating evidence from Jessie's confession(s) to the crime scene. Besides the whiskey bottle they say they "found" but never any physical evidence which makes me believe it. After all the research done, I have seen quite a bit about the WM3 but never anything that lists his confession(s) with all the proper evidence to back it up. Plenty of people say, "Oh but he confessed 'X' number of times, he must be guilty." I mean, come on.. We know that is obviously not the case.

And regardless of the mental capacity of Jessie.. wouldn't corroboration help? One way or the other?
