The sudden and tragic death of Chris Henry, a wide receiver for the Cincinnati Bengals occurred on December 17, 2009, in Charlotte, North Carolina. Henry was just 26 years old at the time of his death, which stemmed from a fall from a moving pickup truck during a domestic dispute. Henry was involved in an altercation with his fiancée, who was driving the truck. In a moment of distress, he jumped onto the bed of the truck as she drove away. Tragically, Henry fell from the vehicle during the incident and sustained critical head injuries. He was rushed to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries the next day. The investigation following Henry's death raised questions about the circumstances leading up to the accident, focusing on both his personal struggles and the incident's details. His death was eventually ruled an accident, and no charges were filed against his fiancee.   |

I went to the same high school he went to and although I was a freshman by the time he died, his presence would fill the halls on his birthday and his death anniversary. Every year at the first home game we would have a moment of silence for him. Once a Cardinal always a Cardinal. We miss you Chris!
