Speaking as an NRA member, cop, and gun enthusiast, I can tell you a lot of us knew someone would misuse the bump stocks when they were approved by the Obama administration in 2010 and that they'd quickly be regulated or outright outlawed eventually.

The problem when you talk about "gun control" is that the gun grabbers don't want any compromise or agreement at all, despite making that claim. For example, I think 90% of all gun people would absolutely agree with no fight to making bump stocks Title II regulated if the gun grabbers agreed to letting suppressors be treated the same as any other gun purchase and removed from Title II status. Long story short, regulate bump stocks, approve the Hearing Protection Act.

Suppressors don't seem to be any additional danger as there is still a significant pop - but would it mean that people didn't react so quickly to the danger.

I suppose some research should be done to determine whether they affect reaction time and ability to detect where an assailant is shooting from (especially if from a distance).

Crazy.. I was there. Luckily I got out. A buddy of mine which I wasn't in the group with passed away, Brennan Stewart.. he's actually in this video. It's tough to watch but it happened already. #VegasStrong
