So, fellow veteran, I guess you forgot what an AAR or debrief were in the military. In case you don't recall, the After Action Report (AAR) discusses what went right, what went wrong, and what can be improved. In this case, we have a police officer already in an agitated state. Do you think that had you been there, you would have kept this officer on point after several of his statements to the possible perp or would you have tried to deescalate the situation for the officer and the potential perp? Since he had radio comms and video, do you think they could have handled the situation better? Yeah AARs are intended to identify what worked correctly and what didn't, regardless of how ego deflating or uncomfortable the discussion. And, before you bash me, I've put in 13 years in combat arms (complete with CIB, etc.) and am speaking from experience and not the armchair/keyboard. Man up.

I went to Weber Basin JobCorps back in 2014ish. I met Daniel Shaver there. Found out about his killing randomly on a donut operator video lol.. Cant say much about the guy other than he always had a smoke I could buy from him.

I remember this, this fucking cop was insane. Shaver was crying and the cop was making him crawl forward instead of staying where he was. He was demanding he crawl forwards while warning him "If you make any sudden move I will shoot you" Well asshole, you are TELLING HIM to move!!
