Re: Paris Terror Attacks: Crime Scene Photos & Video From Bataclan
Just clearing before I responded. The mid 1000's did see a sect break apart from the ruling caliphate, but they were outsiders, they were always deemed outsiders and they never won out any major territories. Most of the few thousand who tried, were dead within two decades. A few fringe generations clung to ideals, in a nomadic existence as they kept getting kicked out everywhere, but had no real action. Islam rejected them entirely. By the 12th century Renaissance, they were entirely gone. Given that religious wars were waging fiercely across the world from about 900-1600 (at their most fierce), it's hardly an anomaly to think that Muslims would also have their religious wars, but they also never really gained a following in the first place so it would be akin to Westboro taking on the Catholic Church. Islam itself has as many (if not more) branches as Christianity does. In fact, I'd argue Catholic-based wars have claimed the most lives in history. Hell, The Troubles only ended a couple decades ago (and that period was only after centuries of fighting), and there is still stuff that springs up time to time - and they all claimed it was their God's Will. Much like the US and their "God's Will" killers - the KKK. |

America and especially EU countries should take heed. These radicals are sending a message and are just getting warmed up. People need to stop the racism and bs look at who the real enemy is. It's getting too late. I feel terrible for those people and France should have been more prepared. The radicals have been threatening them for some time now. |

Re: Paris Terror Attacks: Crime Scene Photos & Video From Bataclan
This is such a heartbreaking turn of events. I think we all realize by now that war is not the answer to dealing with the evil groups we are dealing with. We're just creating more enemies by killing them. We need to stop their indoctrination. We need to enlighten the Middle East as to what a fucking disaster it looks like to the rest of the world, and help them fight back the Radicals themselves. Fuck, the rest of the world might as well just head in and pull out all the stops to make sure every last Radical Islamist in the Middle East is dead once we're certain no more are going to be made. Dream scenario, I know, but it's the only one that I fucking see working flawlessly, without anymore of these heartless tragedies happening years after we've finally given the Middle East back to the people.
