Cassie Jo Stoddart, a high school student in Pocatello, Idaho, was murdered on September 22, 2006, at the age of 16, in a crime that was premeditated and carried out by two of her classmates.

Stoddart was house-sitting at her aunt and uncle's home when she was attacked. The perpetrators, Brian Draper and Torey Adamcik, were both 16 years old at the time and classmates of Stoddart. They planned the murder, inspired in part by the horror movie "Scream" and a desire to commit a notorious crime. The planning and execution of the murder were detailed in videos made by the killers themselves, which later became crucial evidence in the case.

Draper and Adamcik initially joined Stoddart at the house under the guise of watching a movie. They later left and returned covertly to carry out the attack, during which Stoddart was stabbed multiple times.

The investigation led to the arrest of Draper and Adamcik, and the evidence against them included the videos they made, outlining their plans and motives. In 2007, they were both tried separately and found guilty of first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit first-degree murder. They were sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.

Apparently, these were a couple of losers who idolized Klebold & Harris, the Columbine killers. Especially Brian Draper. Except for some big differences – like they rolled on each other when confronted by police, instead of doing the right thing & killing themselves like their "heroes." Unlike Columbine, this girl –*Cassie Jo Stoddart – hadn't "offended" them in any way, real or imagined. She was supposedly their friend. One has to wonder if these two little ******* killed her out of sexual frustration.

Torey Adamchik was a horror movie fan, & said he "modeled" the crime after the "Scream" franchise. They planned the crime in detail ahead of time, with
Brian Draper apparently stating on a videotape, "I don't think killing people should be a crime. I mean, I know it's wrong & all, but hell..."

Torey Adamcik's mother would author a book after her son's sentencing entitled "Guilty Innocent," claiming (of course) that her son was a good boy, & a victim of Brian Draper, who's the "real" bad guy in the case. The two have also become poster-boys for the "Teenagers are just kids, & should never be sentenced like adults to life in prison" crowd. Ironically, I agree. These little bastards should've been given the "adult sentence" of the needle.
