After listening to him speak, I believe he is genuine. I believe he didn't realise it was her in there - as ridiculous as it is that he wouldn't check, I think he just freaked out and honestly thought there was an intruder.

He has some mental issues, they guy took a loaded gun to a busy restaurant and fired it just a month before he killed his girlfriend. Tried to get one of his friends to take the blame. Although apparently it "fell out of his pocket" and the safety was off.

Oh my god, Reeva :( Going against the grain a bit but I believe he didn't realise it was her in the toilet. He was very, very stupid not to check of course, but I don't think he had any intention of killing Reeva and was simply trying to protect her, thinking she was in bed. |
