Christ, this is fucking brutal and it's not even graphic in the slightest. It's just so disturbing to see the moment he realized his end had come. How one second it was business as usual and the next his fate had been sealed with multiple rounds to the gut and chest and one to the head. I think it was the sheer speed with which it happened that makes it extra disturbing.

Apparently HS tells state troopers to stop a vehicle like this often.
They also don’t tell the officers anything else than to stop them and search the vehicle to confirm their suspicions(cartel etc)
In case the officer doesn’t find anything the suspect won’t be tipped that homeland is watching that’s why the poor guy got killed

This was awful. I can't imagine the sheer terror going through his mind when that rifle started going off. The armor police wear on patrol does no good against a 5.56 Nato. This guy was surprised and completely outgunned. But what I don't understand is why he didn't draw down on him when he saw the weapon. Anyone have an idea why he just let him get out of the car so casually?

Agree! As I'm typing this the media is trying to fire up the public about the 13 y/o kid shot by the police in Chicago. Cops called to a "shots fired" scene at 2:30 am. Kid ran, turned to face officer, gun in hand and got shot. What I'm watching on TV doesn't mention ANY of the facts (I found elsewhere in the news) ZERO mention of ignoring police commands and turned to officer gun in hand. Making him sound like an innocent child "tragically gunned down". fuck they media. They are PRAYING this results in riots as that garners MORE ATTENTION TO THE MEDIA.

Except no gun is visible in that video, being dropped or being wielded.

sad but the officer seen he had an AR on him and guy wasn't no 90 yr old... he should've step back then to the side drawn and fired and dealt with the situation later . sad the cop lost his life but they should play this video in training how not to handle a situation

abso-fucking-lutely. As soon as he noticed that that fecal parasite was running the clock, he should've tasered him out repeatedly while calling for urgent backup. This very avoidable death is on him, unfortunately. And his department's reputation is, IMHO, in the crosshairs for letting an untrained officer out in the field. I wish his family well. Saddened by the death of an American hero.
