Re: Mass Shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, Parkland, Florida
Why is all of this arguing back and forth here and not in the Water Cooler section??? I come to the thread to see updates on the shooting and all I see is pages upon pages of conversations/opinions/bullshit. Take it somewhere else!!

This motherfuckers right. This is supposed to be live update news, I mean, what are we? Fucking some joke like The Nightly News or The Washington Post? This is the current events section on a motherfucker gore site. We're supposed to be somewhere the world can turn to to deliver them the updates and stories in an honest and unbiased manner. Yet it's basically the Sean Hannity show around here. |

Re: Mass Shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, Parkland, Florida
So if 'gun laws won't solve anything' what's the point in being against them? I mean, worst case scenario... what. There are less guns available for people to use? Best case scenario, we never see another school shooting. Like, why don't we just have super strict gun laws, and if it nothing improves, then you can vote in people who will repeal those laws. I don't get why it would be a problem to go ahead and TRY strict gun laws in the US. It's like people saying global warming is a farce, so why have any environmental protections at all. Say all the scientists were wrong- the cost of environmental protections is much smaller than the cost of ignoring the problem- so why not HAVE the protections just in case? Like, what's the worst case scenario here that 'pro lax gun law' people are seeing? 'Then the bad guys will have guns.' Uh, they already seem to have them, and so far 'good guys with guns' aren't doing jack shit statistically. |

Worse case scenario, your government becomes tyrannical and you have the blood of another great genocide on your hands.

Just imagine how many he would have killed if he had had a gun? Many.
