The fact that we let 18 year old dipshits buy semi auto rifles but won't let em buy a beer or rent a car or buy a fucking pistol shows how effective the gun lobby has been at targeting republican voters and normalizing what were recently regarded as fringe conspiracy points of view. But thanks to conservative paranoia, lack of critical thinking skills, and an eagerness to believe nonsense and gleefully demonize and dehumanize political opponents we now are seeing the results of what happens when a national political party detaches from reality and becomes the most gullible and easily manipulated group of idiots in history.
