Re: Mass Shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, Parkland, Florida
You back off Wonder Woman, EVERYONE can use Wonder Woman. ...No, but the clean needle exchange has saved billions of government dollars and millions of lives, by reducing the transmission of HIV and Hepatitis. It's also cleaned up a lot of dirty needles left around, since you have to exchange dirty ones. The "indoor shoot up" places have reduced crime, street refuse (which helps keep little kids from picking up infected needles) and further reduced transmission rates (transmission rates are still early in study, though). And the majority of addicts who were able to kick heroin, did so by giving them methadone. Hey look, I listed a bunch of ways to help people, save lives and solve problems, without insisting ALL opiates be banned! I should run for office! |

Re: Mass Shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, Parkland, Florida
Do you have some weird asterisk to give to the Monash University school shooting? I bet you have some reason the Hectorville Siege doesn't count too. Did the Chocolate store not count? I'm sure the Hells Angels shootout didn't matter, since they were organized crime anyway. Don't worry, we don't count gang mass violence either - it's racist, according to the DoJ because most mass shooters are actually black. That said, you have had some mass death arsons - and the US hasn't had once since your mass shooting... If memory serves, our last was in 1990 with Happyland. All them poor elderly, in the Quaker Hill nursing home. But hey, can you answer me why Aussieland's parents like to slit all their kids throats? (Since 1997, ya know...) I mean, after all, Aussie restricted guns massively, how in the heck did these parents manage to slit their throats? Clearly, they must have been pretty intent on killing them, but, but... I thought banning guns would end mass murder. |

Re: Mass Shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, Parkland, Florida
In my country some of terms to have legaly weapon licence to get weapon are : Main condition : You must be at least 21 years old and birth certificate. 1. Certificate from police that you don't have any crime or prison record. 2. Mental and psychological certificate that you are not mentaly dissordered. 3. Guarantee of, at least, two nearest neighbours about your personallity. 4. Certificate from medical comission about overall physical capabilities. ....and there are some more tests but I don't recall those now. Anyway...when you gather those documents, (and most candidates will gave up on point 2 ), then you apply those documents to special police commitee, and then they decide will you get weapon licence or not. Interesting point is that, wheather your documents are perfect, they even can decide, based on their judgement, to reject you anyway. In moment when you get weapon licence, without it you can't buy weapons anyway, store where you bought weapon automaticly notifies police about your "shopping" and then you get weapon into police then they entered you in their records and then you are marked as weapon owner. All those terms are also neccessery and for those who works at security companies as well. No exceptions. Maybe all of that sounds primitive for US citizens, but , I have to agree, it is very effective and perfect filtering indeed. I think that USA should go in this way...or to listen Trump and give weapons to teachers. (of course, all of this doesn't apply for black market). |

Re: Mass Shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, Parkland, Florida
I just wonder how many of those kids marching were texting and driving on their way to the events. CNN sure is having a field day with this. Their scripted actions are so transparent, they don't even try and hide it, anymore. The town hall event was a total obvious mess. After an hour of mushy sensationalist shit, with music and video heart wrenching bullshit to rile the audience, they bring an NRA representative in WWF style to a center stage setup, with villainous music playing and forced her to walk through isles with an angry mob of useful idiots emotionally triggered full of hate, all shouting vile violent, insulting vulgarity. Then several times the stupid kids incited to take part in 15 mins of CNN level fame couldn't even get their scripts right, asking the NRA rep questions that were supposed to be directed at a senator. Brainwashed useful idiots suck up this level propaganda like a sponge they have become. |

Re: Mass Shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, Parkland, Florida
Basically that rundown you listed is a platform for issuance of a privilege. Much like a driver's license. That's the gray area of debate. Rights have already been chipped at since its inception. Convicted felons, violent misdemeanors is a life sentence that voids you of those rights. Should be of no surprise laws are created to make it easy to get either one. 4 traffic violations of the same nature in a lifetime can be enhanced to a felony in many states. Your drunk induced jealous girlfriend could call the police on you it's an automatic domestic violence charge that will prevent you from being able to purchase firearms, even if the charges were dropped. You have to get it sealed and aspunged. Aside from that, it isn't about public safety. When you watch the news, and pundit flailing their arms around in emotional fits, using a false sense of altruism to tap at the heart strings of morally bankrupt and emotionally displaced audiences, what gets muddled in the shit they spew is it isn't just one or two regulations they push, that will have any real impact, it several hundred loopholes that isn't talked about much, waiting to be passed with those seemingly small regulation they propose. That would in the end fully disarm America. That's the endagame goal, not to save a handful of people a year, that pales in comparison to other public safety hazards, that out number violent gun deaths by several hundred thousand per year. |

You're wasting your time with that reply to him my friend. If you seen our previous debate, he thinks those are rehab centers, not shoot up places. He tried to bend reality and convince me of something that exists ONLY in his mind! Because I confronted his opinion with facts and links to prove it, now, he's reduced himself to doing a "dislike" on pretty much every reply I do. If I say we need air to breath, he does a dislike on it. That's the intelligence level you're dealing with concerning him. So don't expect much or you're just setting yourself up for a major disappointment! Lol! |

It's definitely time for Americans to smarten up. And these companies jumping on their bandwagon should feel the wrath as well. This is why it was extremely risky, even idiotic to elect Trump. A guy who doesn't really hold any strong guiding principles or beliefs. Especially when it comes to the 1rst and 2nd amendments. Republicans better hold their majority, or who knows what could pass under this administration. |

Australia isn't perfect but when I turn on the news and see kids being shot and people dying from idiots with guns... it's clear there needs to be something done. I don't know how, but there's gotta be some way. Innocent people don't need to die.
